Sodium Feldspar
Soda feldspar is distinguished for the use in sanitary and porcelain tile bodies, especially for super white "Gres porcellanato". It is used as a flux in ceramics manufacturing, especially for the production of porcelain stoneware, sanitary pottery and glazes. A good deal of the final characteristics of the various ceramic products depends on the type and quality of the feldspar used. Depending on the percentage used, the firing process and the composition of the other components, albeit favors the solubilization of the raw materials creating a liquid phase around the solid particles. We can offer high purity sodium feldspar powder as well as sand which is available in different sizes / mesh and chemical composition specifically according to the customer’s requirement.
Potassium Feldspar
Feldspar is a naturally occurring Potassium Alumino Silicate rock occurring in pegmatite bodies. Also adds strength to the body. Feldspar is a rare occurrence of extremely pure mineral free from mica. The chief impurities namely clay, and other foreign matter all occur as fine bodies below one mm.
